Take part in our focus group on health and disability

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our 2020 CPD Evaluation Survey, which closed on 31 January. 5.5% of osteopaths who responded declared a disability (compared to 19% of UK working-age adults (2018-19)).

We are committed to taking action to ensure that osteopathic education is inclusive and provides the best environment for students, osteopaths and patients to thrive. We are interested to ensure that there are no unnecessary barriers to people with health conditions or disabilities becoming osteopaths and that osteopaths reflect our diverse society.

We are holding online focus groups on Tuesday 23 February at 2pm and 6.30pm for students and osteopaths with lived experience of disabilities or health conditions to inform our draft Guidance for Osteopathic Pre-registration Education prior to formal consultation.
