Running Low: Lower Limb Tendinopathies in Runners

March 16, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Over 6.8 million people run at least twice a month in the UK, so patients presenting with various lower limb tendinopathies have become a common feature in the therapist’s clinic.

We’re pleased to welcome back Jon Houghton, Consultant in Sports Medicine and Rheumatology, to address the full range of tendon issues that can occur in runners. Jon has had fantastic feedback from his past courses and has a huge amount of expertise in managing football, running and other sports injuries.

Jon will draw on his extensive experience of sports-related lower limb tendinopathy for this course, focusing on high hamstring tendon, distal hamstrings, achilles, ankle and plantar fascia pathologies.

Attendees will leave with in-depth knowledge of running-specific tendinopathies, and great new techniques to try out in clinic.

What’s included: Admission to course, 2 hours’ CPD, speaker’s handout, tea and coffee on arrival, light refreshments during interval and Certificate of Attendance. Please let us know any dietary requirements by no later than 4th March. So come along and learn something new in healthcare. You’ll soon see why 98% of our delegates would recommend us.
