July 4, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Institute of Osteopathy is about to embark on its next five year plan, based around the aim of making osteopathy a growing, thriving, and universally recognised profession in the not too distant future. This aim and the plan to achieve it was discussed and designed at the iO Strategy Workshop in January 2018, where over fifty representatives from osteopathic institutions, regional societies, and interested practitioners came together to debate the future direction of osteopathy in the UK.

We’d love to hear from you if you want to be a part of this plan. The iO are looking for a new member of Council at AGM this October, another individual to contribute to the financial and planning governance of the iO on the Audit & Risk Committee, and others who have the experience and passion to advise on programmes in expanding osteopathic influence in the NHS, building bigger practices, build the osteopath brand, and push back the envelope on osteopathic communications.

Interested? Come and meet Ben Katz, the iO President, and Maurice Cheng, Chief Executive, at the iO Activate your Membershipevent in London on 4 July. We’ll talk to you about the new five year strategy, how we plan to work even more collaboratively with the whole profession, and how your skills, experience and interest in making osteopathy available for all can help make the future for our profession happen.

If you’d like to come, drop me a line at maurice@iOsteopathy.org. We’d love to see you there.
