Advancing Paediatrics: Part 1

This course will be given in both English and Italian and a great opportunity to share the experience with other Osteopaths from Europe. This course, with Ian Wright is presented by Dynamics of stillness is for advanced students of Paediatrics who have undertaken some Paediatric Training previously.

Here we will learn how to manage and work with complex conditions effectively and with precision.

Course details:

Part 1 CNS We will explore in-depth biodynamic embryology and learn to palpate the remnant embryological motions of the CNS. We will explore teratogenic and epigenetic effects on the developing CNS. We will explore complex neurodevelopmental disorders and how to manage them. Including 1. Vulnerability of developing CNS to vascular shock and managing Cerebral Palsy. 2. Neurodevelopmental disorders, Global developmental delays 3. Sensory processing disorders 4. Autism 5. ADHD/ ADD 6. Auditory and visual processing disorders, eye function and dyslexia 7. Developmental Cerebellar Dyspraxias 8. Anxiety and behavioural disorders 9. Managing trauma and shock in children We will learn to palpate complex CNS function and to effectively treat.

Ian has taught Paediatric and Cranial Osteopathy for nearly 30 years internationally. Ian is a fellow of Sutherland Cranial College UK. Ian is on the faculty of 4 Paediatric diplomas, including Italy, Brazil, UK and Ireland. Ian studied for 10 years with Dr James S.
