Talkhealth Arthritis and pain management online clinic

Matthew Rogers, practising osteopath and Head of Professional Development for the Institute of Osteopathy will be representing the profession as a clinical expert to answer patient concerns about their arthritis symptoms and will be providing advice regarding how they can self-manage

From January 17 – 27 2022 talkhealth will team up with Arthritis Action and the Institute of Osteopathy to present an online clinic on arthritis and pain management. Clinical experts will be available to answer questions on issues surrounding arthritis and pain management, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout and psoriatic arthritis.

‘I have been involved in representing the profession at these virtual events for the last five years,’ says Matthew. ‘This is an opportunity to raise awareness about the benefits of osteopathy with a target audience of people living with the symptoms of arthritis, many of whom may benefit from osteopathy.’

Since qualifying as an osteopath in 2002, Matthew has worked in a variety of private and NHS settings and has also held responsibility for project management of service development changes across healthcare, as an Operational Lead for an NHS Trust. He joined the Institute of Osteopathy’s management team as he is passionate about offering a personal contribution to osteopathy and taking an active role in the promotion and development of the osteopathic profession, for the benefit of both osteopaths and their patients. Matthew runs Netherne Osteopathic Practice in Surrey.
