Matthew Rogers

Since qualifying as an osteopath in 2002, I have worked as a clinician in a variety of private and NHS settings and also held responsibility for project management of service development changes across healthcare, as an Operational Lead for an NHS Trust. I have worked with the GOsC as a Revalidation Pilot Assessor and previously sat on council with the BOA.

I joined the iO management team as I am passionate about offering a personal contribution to osteopathy and taking an active role in the promotion and development of our profession, for the sake of osteopaths and our patients.

My main role is to act as the Osteopathic Development Group, Secretariat and Programme Coordinator, however, as a qualified and practicing osteopath, I also support the iO management team with clinical issues. I retain responsibility for project managing many other iO professional development initiatives in line with the organisation’s 5-year strategic plan, mission and vision (and manage the communications, professional development and policy teams.)
