Take part in headache project and earn valuable CPD
A patient walks in with a headache. Do you know the warning signs? Are you confident in your diagnosis? Do you know when to refer? The appropriate investigations? Are you confident when you should treat? If you’d like to know the answers and gain access to eight hours of free CPD, you can participate in some ground-breaking research into the study of headaches.
If you are a registered osteopath practising in the UK, you can take part in the oF funded headache project (EdACHe) and have the added bonus of some academically robust e-learning which will put the profession on the map for headaches among health professionals. Participants will just have to complete a 30-minute questionnaire before and after the road test.
This academically robust e-learning course fills the gaps in headache knowledge that were found in the study of osteopaths existing knowledge in 2019.
It has everything you need to know to be clinically confident and it will put our profession on the map for headaches among health professionals.
Participants will be invited to complete the eight hour course and a ‘before and after’ 20-minute questionnaire over a six week period, which is just over an hour a week.
EdACHe will be commercially available next year to all allied health professionals so this is chance to get it completely free.
If you would like to improve your headache knowledge and help us, please register your interest by emailing edache3.ophm@gmail.com by 1st November.
